European Democracy is under attack.
We invite you to a debate on current hybrid threats and challenges with MEP Lena Düpont (CDU) and Martha Turnbull, Director for Hybrid Influence at the Hybrid CoE. Ms Düpont will introcude the European Democracy Shield Initiative.
Foreign actors are seeking to influence elections and shape public debate, while technological dependencies have left many European countries vulnerable.
The European Parliament Liaison Office in Germany, in partnership with the Political Tech Summit 2026, invites you to an in-depth panel discussion on this critical challenge. The event will be held in English

The speakers will share expert insights on current hybrid influence threats, key EU counter-initiatives, and long-term resilience strategies — including the development of a European Centre for Democratic Resilience.
The discussion will be followed by an audience Q&A session.
