Hamburg, 29.05.2026: Grand City Property (GCP) verzeichnet einen Vermietungserfolg im Einkaufszentrum (EKZ) Jenfeld und bietet damit ein neues Lebensmittelangebot für die Wohnungsmieter am Standort: Eine 709 Quadratmeter große Ladenfläche wurde langfristig an den MEGA Markt neu vermietet.
Das EKZ Jenfeld vereint Wohnen, Nahversorgung sowie Dienstleistungen und zeichnet sich durch eine hohe Kundenfrequenz aus. Über den Gewerbeeinheiten des Einkaufscenters Jenfeld befinden sich 336 Wohneinheiten. Durch die langfristige Vermietung bis Ende 2040 leisten GCP und MEGA Markt einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Stärkung der Nahversorgung für die Bewohner des Quartiers. Das Einkaufszentrum profitiert von seiner Rolle als zentraler Versorgungsstandort im Stadtteil Wandsbek. Die Neuvermietung ergänzt das bestehende Angebot sinnvoll und trägt dazu bei, den täglichen Bedarf der Anwohner direkt vor Ort abzudecken.
Der MEGA Markt hat im April 2026 eröffnet und bietet ein reichhaltiges Sortiment – von frischem Obst und Gemüse über internationale Backwaren, Handelsmarken und Markenprodukte bis hin zu einer gut sortierten Frischfleischtheke.
„Mit der erfolgreichen Neuvermietung im Einkaufszentrum Jenfeld stärken wir gezielt die wohnungsnahe Versorgung und erhöhen die Standortqualität für unsere Mieterinnen und Mieter sowie für die gesamte Nachbarschaft“, sagt Lena Losereit, Regionaldirektorin Nord von GCP.
Mit der langfristigen Bindung des neuen Mieters unterstreicht GCP die nachhaltige Entwicklung des Standorts. Mit einem eigenen Centermanagement sorgt GCP dafür, dass das EKZ Jenfeld kontinuierlich an die Bedürfnisse der Bewohner, Kunden und der Nachbarschaft angepasst und als wichtiger Treffpunkt im Stadtteil weiter gestärkt wird.
Über mehrere Buslinien ist Jenfeld direkt an die Hamburger Innenstadt angebunden; zudem ist das Einkaufszentrum über die Jenfelder Allee sowie die nahegelegene Autobahn gut erreichbar. Direkt am Einkaufszentrum und in der Umgebung gibt es viele kostenfreie Parkplätze.

GCP strengthens local amenities in the Jenfeld residential quarter in Hamburg with new leasing
Hamburg, May 29, 2026: Grand City Property (GCP) has successfully secured a new lease at the Jenfeld shopping center (EKZ), further enhancing the local food retail offering for residents at the site. A retail unit measuring 709 square meters has been leased long-term to MEGA Markt.
The Jenfeld shopping center combines residential living, local amenities, and services, and benefits from a high level of customer frequency. Above the retail units, the center comprises 336 residential units. With the lease secured until the end of 2040, GCP and MEGA Markt are making a significant contribution to strengthening local supply for residents in the neighborhood. The shopping center benefits from its role as a central supply hub in the Wandsbek district. The new lease enhances the existing tenant mix and helps to cover the everyday needs of local residents directly on site.
MEGA Markt opened in April 2026 and offers a wide product range—from fresh fruit and vegetables to international baked goods, private-label and branded products, as well as a well-stocked fresh meat counter.
“With this successful new lease at the Jenfeld shopping center, we are specifically strengthening local neighborhood amenities and further enhancing the quality of the location for our tenants and the surrounding community,” says Lena Losereit, Regional Director North at GCP.
By securing the new tenant on a long-term basis, GCP underscores the sustainable development of the site. With its own center management, GCP ensures that the Jenfeld shopping center is continuously adapted to the needs of residents, customers, and the neighborhood, and further strengthened as an important meeting point in the district.
Jenfeld is directly connected to Hamburg’s city center via several bus lines; the shopping center is also easily accessible via Jenfelder Allee and the nearby motorway. Numerous free parking spaces are available directly at and around the shopping center.
