In September, RHI, the global market leader in refractory products, will increase its prices world-wide. As RHI announced today, the increase in prices will be between 3 and 6% depending on the product group. This will only apply to new orders. Deliveries already in progress, long-term contracts and basic agreements will not be affected, says RHI. RHI specified the following reasons for sending such a clear message on the price side: Raw materials costs and energy costs (oil prices) have risen considerably; and the company has to meet increasingly higher requirements in product innovation, as its products are mainly in the high-quality segment.
