The Board of Directors has decided to split the participation rights in relation of 5-for-1. Currently each 2 participation rights represent one CHF 10 par value bearer share. After the split 10 participation rights will represent 1 bearer share. The share capital of 43 Mio. CHF will not be affected by the split.
The value of the participation rights of swiss-based Highlight Communications AG has increased more than six times since the listing of the company at the Neue Markt of the Deutsche Börse AG on May 11, 1999. The split is planned to increase the trading liquidity of the participation rights and shall be affective on March 31, 2000.
