New business area WEB-@rchiving to revolutionize DMS in the Internet
EASY SOFTWARE AG, listed in the Neuer Markt section of the Frankfurt stock exchange market, and eurodata GmbH & Co. KG, operator of a major high security data processing center, have initiated the foundation of their jointly- owned subsidiary myEASY.de AG. The object of the new company, of which EASY and eurodata hold 51 % and 49 %, respectively, is the "WEB- @rchiving" outsourcing service which facilitates centralized electronic and revision-proof archiving of all types of documents and data via the Internet. Moreover, through the portal "myEASY.de", an Internet marketplace is established for all WEB-@rchiving users, which enables the new jointly-owned subsidiary to engage in the additional business areas of "B2B" and "B2C".
With this extra offer, the new company is geared towards the 50,000 existing customers of the eurodata data processing center, as well as all companies worldwide that, due to their internal IT structures, are bound to outsource additional crucial applications such as DMS and electronic archiving. The main benefit for those who take advantage of the outsourcing service lies in the fact that they save the expenditure for hardware investments and human resources that would be needed to maintain their own IT system. Hardware expansions for separate optical storage systems become completely unnecessary.
With the new subsidiary, EASY SOFTWARE AG, a fast-growing technology corporation, gains an additional foothold in the fast-growing Internet and e-business markets and takes up its position in the Internet as an Application Service Provider.
The new corporation is endowed with a capital stock of DEM 1 million. The proprietors intend to list the new joint-stock company in the stock exchange market at a later date.
