Einhell Germany AG has expanded its gardening segment and has added the first Power X-Change Cordless Pruning Shears. The GE-LS 18 Li Cordless Pruning Shears make it much easier to care for your green spaces at home and are perfect for jobs where you need to trim more than just a few twigs. It is a powerful tool for cutting branches up to a thickness of 28 mm, making it a comfortable alternative to a manual pruning saw or manual pruning shears.
Cordless power for an impressive result
Landau an der Isar, March 9, 2021 – Particularly in the spring, there is a lot of work that needs to be carried out for pruning, cutting back or thinning out summer bloomers, such as panicled hydrangeas, hydrangea shrubs, garden mallow or butterfly bushes. This promotes vibrant and healthy growth. By contrast, spring flowering plants are normally trimmed after flowering so that they are free of leaves than require energy during the cold months. These include elderberry, honeysuckle, mock orange bush and Ribes sanguineum.
Thanks to a powerful 18 V Power X-Change rechargeable battery and the high-quality bypass blades, this type of gardening work can now be finished much more easily with the GE-LS 18 Li Cordless Pruning Shears from Einhell. The clean, sharp cut also helps promote growth of the plants. In addition to trimming fresh, green growth, it is also possible to thin out thicker branches on fruit trees with a thickness of up to 28 mm. Here, it is very important that the cut is straight and clean, as frayed-off branch ends will offer a breeding ground for pests and fungi.
Mobile and always ready for action
With battery power, you will find yourself able to work with the GE-LS 18 Li Cordless Pruning Shears even for extended periods of time without tiring. In addition, a belt clip adds to the comfort if you are working higher up in a tree and need to put the pruning shears down for a moment. Thanks to the ergonomic softgrip handle, the shears sit incredibly comfortably in the hand. The safety switch provides for safe use, with an ON/OFF switch for turning the cordless pruning shears on and off. Replacement of the blade is incredibly straightforward, and the blade is kept safely in a sturdy plastic cover.
Once the work is done, the 18 V battery pack can also be used in all other household tools or gardening equipment from the Power X-Change platform. This now already includes over 200 devices, and the list is constantly growing.
