Invitation to coverage and press conference – Renewable Materials Conference 2023, Siegburg near Cologne, Germany

Dear representatives of the press,

The nova-Institut cordially invites you to the press conference on the occasion of the Renewable Materials Conference 2023.

Venue:

Rhein Sieg Forum,

Room 4

Bachstraße 1

53721 Siegburg

Time:

Tuesday, 23 May 2023, 1:15 p.m.

The Renewable Materials Conference will take place in Siegburg from 23 to 25 May 2023 and will bring together the key players in the field of renewable materials. Without the chemical and plastics industries switching to alternatives to fossil-based materials, climate targets cannot be met. One gigaton of fossil carbon needs to be replaced annually with renewable carbon from biomass, CO2 and recycling to achieve a net zero balance by 2050.

Meet experts, stakeholders and industry leaders to learn about the latest industry developments and discuss visions and strategies for the future. Up to 500 participants are expected to attend this international industry meeting place. In 80 lectures, 20 panel discussions and several expert workshops, high-profile speakers from the world's leading companies, start-ups, cutting-edge research and policy-makers will present and discuss a wide range of innovative solutions based on biomass, CO2 and recycling.

The Renewable Materials Conference is a hybrid event, with both the main and most of the side events broadcast live.

The on-site press conference will not be broadcast online.

Participants at the press conference:

Michael Carus, nova-Institut (DE), Christopher vom Berg, nova-Institut (DE), Jennifer Lovell, New Normal (CH, GB), Peter Nieuwenhuizen, GC3 – Green Chemistry & Commerce Council (NL/US), Rafael Cayuela, DOW (CH/US), Lars Börger, Neste Germany (DE/FI), Marvin Strüfing, UPM Biochemicals (DE/FI), Jo-Ann Innerlohinger, Lenzing (AT), Peep Pitk, Fibenol (EE).

You will also meet speakers and exhibitors from the following companies and institutions, among others:
