Splendid Film GmbH of Cologne, 100% subsidiary of Splendid Medien AG of Cologne, and Twentieth Century Fox International of Los Angeles have signed a cooperation agreement for the distribution of feature films. In the next two years Fox will market Splendid films for the cinema and pay TV sectors in the German-speaking regions. To date, the agreement covers eight cinema productions, including amongst others "Dr. T and the Women" with Richard Gere and the 100 million dollar production "Gangs of New York" with Leonardo DiCaprio. Exploitation via video, DVD and free TV will remain in the hands of Splendid as before.
