Highlight Communications completes capital increase successfully
Listed in the Neue Markt segment of the Frankfurt stock exchange since May 1999, Highlight Communications AG, Pfäffikon (Switzerland) has successfully completed its share capital increase, which has been decided by the shareholders at the Annual General Meeting on May 30, 2000. The share capital was increased from CHF 43 Mio. to CHF 47,25 Mio. Led by BHF-BANK the new 4,25 Mio. participation rights were sold to institutional investors in Germany and other European countries in a private placement. Due to the strong demand the subscriptions could only be satisfied partiallly. The placement price was near the actual share price.
Highlight Communications will spent the proceeds which are far more than 100 Mio. Euros to continue focussed growth and on acquisitions in the entertainment area.
