Singulus Technologies AG will
preferably use inspection systems of Basler AG in future for its
replication lines to produce optical media devices.
Both companies reached this agreement today on the Replitech 2000
in Düsseldorf, the leading European fair for suppliers of the optical
and magnetical media industry. As part of the agreement all
replication lines of Singulus will be supplied with Basler inspection
systems in future, including all formats, i.e. CD-Audio, CD-Rom, CD-R
and DVD.
Not only the leading technology of Basler inspection systems but
"also the tremendous after-sales-support in Asia and Taiwan
especially - one of our most active markets at the moment - led to
this decision", says Reiner Seiler, Vice-President of Singulus
Technologies AG.
And Dr. Dietmar Ley, Member of the board of Basler AG pointed out:
"Singulus has already been one of our large customers in the CD-R
business over the last year. But this agreement is about all formats,
which proofs the outstanding quality of our products".
Singulus Technologies AG is one of the leading manufacturers of
replication lines for the production of optical media devices.
Experts say, that especially the good position of Singulus AG in the
upcoming DVD market will give it good growth perspectives.
"We are very happy, that Singulus uses preferably our inspection
systems in their lines. The co-operation between the two companies
therefore grows into another dimension", says Ley.
