Bank Austria AG has informed the Managing Board of Lenzing AG that the Bank Austria Group has sold the shares of Lenzing AG to "Zellulosefaser Beteiligungsgesellschaft m.b.H.", an Austrian company and member of the CVC Group, at a price of EUR 90 per share. The purchase is subject to the condition of the required cartel-law approvals. The Managing Board and Supervisory Board of Lenzing AG will comment in detail on the matter in the course of the imminent take-over procedure.
