Basler has concluded a supply agreement with TI SPP who continue to invest in vision system technologies. With this agreement Basler's business unit Sealing Inspection will again increase its market share on the rubber-/elastomer inspection market up to app. 55%. The agreement refers to the whole product range of Sealing Inspection, i.e. the Basler VARIO, Basler COMPACT and Basler MICRO, and has a duration of two years. Today 11 inspection systems from Basler are installed at different sites of the TI SPP. Not only the leading technology of Basler's inspection systems but also the excellent after-sales-support worldwide led to TI SPP's decision to award this supply agreement. UK based TI SPP is one of the worldwide leading manufacturers of polymer sealing products and serves the industrial, automotive and aerospace industries with customers like Boeing, Airbus, Bosch, Visteon and Siemens. Basler AG, an international high-tech company with headquarters in Ahrensburg close to Hamburg, is a leading manufacturer of vision technology, the technology on which artificial vision systems are based. The systems and components produced by the company are crucial for the optimization of industrial production processes. The basic conditions for a tremendous growth in sales and revenues are most promising since currently only approximately 15 per cent of all potential applications have been identified.
