Augsburg / Muskegon (MI / U.S.) / Kielce (PL), September 3, 2025 – RENK Group AG, a leading supplier of propulsion solutions for the military sector, and a partner from the Ukrainian Defense Industry have agreed in a joint MOU on the supply of prototypes of the HMPT 800 transmission for the further development of an infantry fighting vehicle.

This MOU to jointly further develop existing mobility solutions underscores the confidence in our technology and the capacity at our facility in Muskegon”, says Ian Pain, CEO RENK America at MSPO in Kielce, one of the most renowned international trade fairs for military technology.
The HMPT transmission, which has already proven itself on multiple US and allied fighting vehicles, impresses with its exceptional power density in a compact format, thus ensuring superior maneuverability and agility, and is currently manufactured at the Muskegon site in the US.
If the prototype tests are successful, a tender for the series production of an already agreed number of transmissions will follow.
