TePla AG, Kirchheim and MANIA Technologie AG, Weilrod agree on cooperation in the development and sales of plasma systems for processing Interconnect Carriers.
Interconnect Carrier as a basic element of all electronic applications allow the production of smaller and more complex microelectronic systems. Due to increasing miniaturisation, these Carriers require finest drillings. TePla-systems are used to clean the drilled holes. Here, the use of the microwave-plasma offers advantages in efficiency over traditional wet-chemical solutions.
MANIA broadens product portfolio
On the market for interconnect carriers, MANIA has positioned itself as the sole provider of a complete portfolio of production systems. TePla's Plasma-systems are to further round off this product range.
TePla strengthens US-activities
Today, MANIA is present on all important electronic and Interconnect Carrier markets world-wide. With more than 35 Million Marks in the first nine months of 1999, nearly 25 percent of its turnover was earned in the United States. With this cooperation, TePla wants to further strengthen its position in this market.
