EASY SOFTWARE AG, listed on the Neuer Markt, greatly increased its estimated revenue figures for the year 2001. As the company announced on the occasion of its press and analyst conference in Frankfurt, an increase in the EASY group revenue from DEM 50 million in 1999 to DEM 84 million in the current financial year and DEM 124 million in 2001 is being aimed for. Increasingly important is the profitable software-license and service business. The previous estimated figures were set at DEM 70 million for this year and DEM 100 million for the coming year.
The increased estimated figures reflect the successful position of the company in the growth market for document management systems (DMS). As a DMS provider, the EASY group has large investments in extending its national and international sales activities. Among these were acquisitions and the foundation of companies in Europe and the US. Further takeovers and share holdings to strengthen the market position are planned.
EASY SOFTWARE is represented in more than 30 countries by over 450 distributors and sales partners and belongs to the leading providers in the market for archiving and document management systems with more than 5000 network installations. Apart from its headquarters in Muelheim, the company, founded in 1990 and transformed to a stock corporation in 1998, has branches in Berlin, Walldorf (SAP Competence Center) and Andernach. A great step for the extension of EASY's international activities was the foundation of its British subsidiary in London at the beginning of 2000 and the first branch office in Manchester. Apart from the US subsidiary founded in the first half of 1999 and the French company, this means that EASY is also directly represented in Europe's second largest IT market.
