Allianz Global Investors Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH, Frankfurt, Germany,
notified MEDION AG on June 7, 2011 pursuant to section 21 (1) of the German
Securities Trading Act (WpHG) that their share of the voting rights in MEDION
AG, Am Zehnthof  77, 45307 Essen, Germany, fell on June 3, 2011, below the
threshold of  3 %  and as of that date amounted to 2,51 % of the total amount of
voting rights in MEDION AG (this corresponds to  1,217,348 of a total of
48,418,400 voting rights). Of Allianz Global Investors Kapitalanlagegesellschaft
mbh, Frankfurt, Germnay, share of voting rights, 0,02 % of the total amount of
voting rights (this corresponds to 8,348 of a total of 48,418,400 voting rights)
are attributable  under Section 22(1), sentence  1, No. 6 Securities Trading
Act.
No voting rights have been acquired within the meaning of Section 17(1) No. 7
Regulations on Securities Trading Disclosure and Insider List (WpAIV)
