Explanations:
With some 6,000 network installations, EASY counts among the leading suppliers in the promising market for electronic document management systems (DMS).
In the year 2000, the EASY group grew at more than twice the rate of the overall DMS market; future high-level growth is planned to be increasingly profit-oriented. Besides the already high profits from software license software, special focus will lie on augmenting the share of profitable activities such as consulting and services.
Through its partner sales network with 500 distributors, vendors and OEM licensees, the EASY group is now represented in 30 countries. The company is the second largest developer of data archiving and document management solutions in connection with SAP R/3 world-wide.
The indirect partner business accounts for more than 80 percent of EASY SOFTWARE sales revenues. Taking into account the vendors' margins as well as services and hardware, the resulting external sales revenue (street value) of more than EUR 170 million is roughly five times as high and can serve as a basis of comparison with our competitors' direct sales revenues.
The company's management board will provide detailed information regarding the 2000 business development as well as product and marketing strategies in press and analyst conferences in Frankfurt on April 3.
