Berlin (euro adhoc) - Berlin, December 08, 2008: HMS Bergbau AG announces today its listing in the Entry Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. A total of 4 Million shares of HMS Bergbau AG with a nominal value of EUR 1.00 were introduced for trading on December 8, 2008. The opening share price was EUR 9,50 resulting in a market capitalisation of EUR 38 Mio. The Close Brothers Seydler Bank AG accompanied the Exchange listing of HMS.
HMS Bergbau AG was founded in 1995 and has established itself as a reliable player on the international coal arena, both in coal supply, logistics as well as production. Furthermore, HMS participates in a number of energy related projects, such as the extraction of copper deposits or the development of environmental technologies, especially for CO2 Capture and Storage (CCS).
"As a result of our long-term perspective on our business operations we have decided - in spite of the current financial crisis - to go ahead and list at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. To prove our commitment to our medium-sized-enterprise and the industry, we recently reacted to the current financial situation with an increase of HMS´ capital stock to EUR 4 Million.
