Getting the lawn into shape with Power X-Change
Einhell Germany AG has added two new 18 V lawn trimmers to its Power X-Change product range. The GE-CT 18/30 Li and the GE-CT 18/28 Li are designed for trimming the edges of the lawn and getting into those grassy areas in the garden that conventional mowers are unable to reach. The latter is available with an optional mower attachment known as a trimmer cart. This is particularly suitable for smaller gardens because it can be used for both trimming and mowing. That saves the amateur gardener both space and time, because they don’t have to buy two different machines.
For precise results
Landau a. d. Isar, May 17th, 2022 – The new GE-CT 18/28 Li and GE-CT 18/30 Li cordless lawn trimmers score thanks to their low weight and ease of handling. With no need for a power source or the hassle of an extension cable, they guarantee maximum freedom of movement. Each trimmer is equipped with a line 5 meters long and 1.6 millimeters thick. Both models are fitted with a sturdy metal flower guard to protect flowers, ornamental plants and other sensitive objects from damage.
The GE-CT 18/30 Li cordless lawn trimmer operates at a powerful maximum speed of 8500 rpm. The line is fed by an automatic jog system and offers a cutting width of 30 centimeters. An adjustable additional handle ensures comfortable handling. The long handle can be easily and conveniently adjusted to the height of the user with the aid of a quick-lock located ergonomically on the handle for optimum ease of use. The motor head has 3 tilt settings and can be rotated 90 degrees to allow even vertical surfaces and edges to be trimmed, while a guide wheel enables precision edging. The GE-CT 18/28 Li cordless lawn trimmer trims the grass at a speed of 8000 rpm. For the best possible comfort, the additional handle with Softgrip and the telescopic long handle can be adjusted individually to suit the user. The line is fed entirely automatically. The motor head has 3 tilt settings, so that even weeds and high grass under hedges or bushes can be cut cleanly. The flexible motor head can also be rotated 180 degrees, allowing vertical surfaces and edges to be trimmed.
3 in 1: Mowing, trimming and edging
Einhell has added to its product range a robust lawn mower trimmer cart which is specifically designed to combine with the GE-CT 18/28 Li for the cable-free maintenance of smaller gardens and difficult terrain. A click system allows the trimmer to be converted into a practical city lawn mower with a 2-stage axial cutting height setting of 35 to 55 millimeters. The 2-in-1 machine means the amateur gardener can both trim and mow without the need for two different products, saving both space and money.
All models are compatible with the Power X-Change batteries of the platform, which already comprises more than 200 cordless tools and garden machines today, and will be boosted to 350 by the end of 2025.
