Landau an der Isar, February 23rd, 2021 – Whenever a percussion drill reaches its limits – for example when working in hard materials like concrete – this is when you need a rotary hammer. The particular advantage of the new 36 V Herocco 36/28 model is that it is cordless yet offers extremely powerful performance. The new Power X-Change Cordless Rotary Hammer Herocco 36/28 from Einhell is part of the Power X-Change rechargeable battery range. One of the many advantages of this tool for users is that all battery packs are compatible across Einhell's entire battery platform, which now covers some 200 tools and devices – offering DIY enthusiasts and hobby gardeners the freedom of cordless operation for all applications in the home and garden. No other supplier of tools and gardening equipment can beat this level of flexibility.
The 36 V Power X-Change Cordless Rotary Hammer will be available from spring 2021 and offers four different functions: drilling, impact drilling, chiseling with and without lock. The maintenance-free, brushless motor delivers optimized power for efficient working. As a member of the Power X-Change family, the tool uses twin-pack technology and features two 18 V rechargeable battery packs.
Perfectly equipped for every challenge
Thanks to the low net weight of the unit and its handle with vibration control for reduced vibrations during working, users can work for long periods with this tool without tiring. With the precisely adjustable electronic speed control, the idling speed can be adjusted from 0-1100 rpm to deliver anything from 0-5300 blows per minute to perfectly suit any application. With the aid of the pneumatic hammer mechanism, only light contact pressure is required in order to achieve high impact force. The rotary hammer features an additional soft-grip handle with ribbing for guaranteed non-slip handling, as well as a universal SDS Plus tool chuck with semi-automatic mechanism for quick and easy changing of accessories such as drill bits or chisel attachments.
For even greater safety and in order to prevent injuries to the operator, the overload clutch disengages immediately if rotation of the drill is blocked. The integrated LED light illuminates the work area brightly for situations where there is not enough light. Concrete drill bits can be used up to a maximum drilling depth of 28 mm, wood drill bits up to 30 mm and metal drill bits up to 13 mm.
