The Sovereignty Alliance for European Network Technology (SAFENet) welcomes five new members: Genexis, IPmotion, MB connect line, Teldat and Waystream. The alliance is growing rapidly, expanding from four to nine European network technology companies just a few weeks after its founding. With this growth, the alliance significantly broadens its European base. Their shared goal: to strengthen Europe's technological capacity to act – and to ensure that European network technology is given the weight it deserves in Brussels and in national capitals.
The new members bring a range of complementary strengths across network infrastructure:
- Genexis (Netherlands/Sweden): The broadband specialist offers fibre termination and home networking solutions – from ONTs and residential gateways to extenders and management software.
- IPmotion (Germany): The manufacturer develops mobile internet access and router solutions for rail and road transport, public safety and other mobile applications.
- MB connect line (Germany): The manufacturer develops secure remote access solutions, industrial routers and OT security gateways for machine builders and industrial operators. Its portfolio enables the secure connection, remote maintenance and segmentation of machines, systems and industrial networks, including protected network transitions between OT environments.
- Teldat (Spain): The provider develops router, SD-WAN, 5G and cybersecurity solutions for businesses, public institutions and critical infrastructure.
- Waystream (Sweden): The company develops access switches and routers for the fibre networks of municipal networks and network operators in Northern and Central Europe.
