Financial Times Masters in Finance Rankings 2021 - WHU continues to rank #1 in Germany

Düsseldorf/Vallendar. The Financial Times rankings are among the most important international assesments employed by Bachelor’s graduates to select a Master’s program at any given business school. According to this year’s rankings, WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management has moved up to 18th place worldwide and continues to be No. 1 in Germany. WHU's Master in Finance program scores particularly well in the categories "Career services" (#7), "Salary" (#13), and "International course experience" (#8).

“Considering the constantly evolving regulations on schools and universities over the course of the past year in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is highly gratifying to see that WHU has even gone so far as to improve its standing in the rankings since our first time partaking in 2020,” shares Professor Dr. Markus Rudolf, Dean of WHU. “WHU is consistently making every effort to make further strides despite such inconsistent and difficult times, and this year’s successful placement will serve as an incentive to strive for further student and alumni satisfaction in all facets of the program.”

The Financial Times Master in Finance Ranking 2021 evaluated a total of 55 Master in Finance programs worldwide including Frankfurt School of Finance, which came in at 31st place. In addition to the aspects of internationality, salary, and career service, criteria such as career advancement and diversity were also ranked. This is significant, as WHU’s exceptional Career Services department plays an integral role in student and alumni satisfaction. Student diversity and internationality make the program particularly unique, especially considering the majority of students who take part in the program are coming from abroad and contributing to a constant exchange of new and exciting information. This experience, combined with outstanding education and career opportunities, does well to positively shape students' future careers. Alumni surveys and information provided by the schools themselves are used to establish the rankings. In this regard, surveyed alumni rated the program 9,24 out of 10 with regards to general satisfaction. Including the Financial Times Master in Finance ranking, WHU continues to be the No. 1 school in all of Germany for its provided degree programs.
