Additional market potential seen


Karlsruhe / Hamburg, December 15th 2011. init innovation in traffic systems AG,
having owned 44 percent of id systeme GmbH of Hamburg since 2002, will now take
over the remaining 56 percent. A purchase agreement will be made by the end of
this year. The two parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

id systeme is a company specializing in information and scheduling systems for
public transport. In the fiscal year 2010, revenues of Euro 2.8 million were
made with a net profit of Euro 368,000. The company is the market leader in
Germany and the Netherlands with its workforce planning and scheduling software
solution, PERDIS . The two founders will continue to manage id systeme after the
acquisition by init ensuring the success in management. 

PERDIS is already a part of init's integrated product portfolio and will expand
the application possibilities of init's software solutions. In international
tenders, integrated planning and scheduling systems are being increasingly asked
for by customers. By fully acquiring id systeme, init will be able to fulfill
the demand even better and at the same time create new business opportunities.
By using the distribution channels of init, especially in North America and
Asia, id systeme will now be able to enter new markets. 

The Board of init innovation in traffic systems AG predicts that the sales
potential for id systeme will double over the next five years. At the same time,
init will benefit from the synergies in international sales and strategic
marketing of its products.
