In the first nine months of 2000, United Labels AG increased its revenues to EUR 15.6 million, compared to EUR 8.1 million in the previous year (+93%). In the same period earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) grew by 75 per cent, to EUR 1.52 million (EUR 0.87 million in the previous year). Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) was up by 42 per cent, which equates to EUR 1.08 million (EUR 0.76 million in the previous year). Income from ordinary operating activities grew by 57 per cent, to EUR 1,12 million (EUR 0.72 million in the previous year). After deducting one-off IPO costs amounting to EUR 2.6 million, and having taken into account deferred tax items, the loss for the nine months under review stands at EUR 0.79 million. United Labels expects a balanced result for the full fiscal year. DVFA earnings per share for the period under review are up substancially by EUR 0.08 to EUR 0.2 per share. The main contributors to this substantial level of growth were the expansion of the company's portfolio of licences and the acceleration of sales activities throughout Europe.
