Robotics live at Automatica 2025
TUM MIRMI – Guided Tour for Journalists
On June 24, 2025, the opening day of the automatica 2025 robotics trade fair, the Munich Institute of Robotics and Machine Intelligence (MIRMI) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) will offer journalists a guided tour for an advance peek at the work of its researchers.
The approximately 25 demos on site will include a mobile environmental laboratory equipped with a drone, submarine, and small terrestrial robot; exosuits that support the upper body or legs; and start-ups such as SmartAIs, which use AI to help blind people with orientation. There will be a special focus on two important strategic topics of MIRMI: geriatronics and the question of how technology can provide support with the elderly and nursing care settings and the AI.Fabrik flagship project, which deals with AI and robotics in the production environment. In addition, there will be a number of start-ups supported by the MIRMI incubator robo.innovate.
