Every year, the Southern Upper Rhine Chamber of Commerce and Industry presents sponsorship awards to exceptionally talented graduate apprentices. These awards honor the best in class and allow the talented individuals to take their training to the next level. The sponsorship awards are supported by many different people and companies across the Southern Upper Rhine region. Their aim is to enable graduates to complete further training that will support their professional development. They can also be used to support language courses locally or abroad and even internships abroad.
Koehler Group Sponsorship Award Goes to “Electronics Technician Specializing in Industrial Applications”
This year, the Southern Upper Rhine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation presented over 30 sponsorship awards. The awards were given to graduates who took their final vocational exams – administered by the Southern Upper Rhine Chamber of Commerce and Industry – in the winter of 2022/2023 and summer of 2023 in recognition of their achievements. The Koehler Group took part for the fifth time with a special award for graduates of the “electronics technician specializing in industrial applications” apprenticeship. Stefan Grözinger, Head of Training and Development at the Koehler Group, remarks: “Keen to emphasize the importance of a dual course of study and motivate young people to take their career to the next level, the Koehler Group is once again giving a sponsorship award to a successful graduate ‘electronics technician specializing in industrial applications’ apprentice from training providers in the Ortenau district.” Brian Spinner is the proud recipient of the Koehler Group award this year. He successfully completed his training at the start of 2023 and plans to use the prize money of EUR 2500 toward his further training as an ‘electronics technician specializing in industrial applications’ in 2025.
