Boom with semiconductors - growth of sales in January/February each plus 100% - profit increase expected ten-fold
Already after 8 months of the running fiscal year (1.7.1999 - 30.6,2000) of FORTEC Elektronik sales of semiconductors reached result of the last year with 4,3 mio. DM. At today's sight the company expects that forecast of 6 mio. DM could be clearly exceeded.
As sales of ICs increase dynamically FORTEC expects at least ten-fold earnings to an EBIT of DM 400,000 for semiconductors. The much bigger industrial business of FORTEC with powersupplies, displays and embedded computer technology is furthermore on target with +35% increase of sales and profit.
