London, 28 October 2009 - Air Berlin PLC was informed on 28 October 2009 that the voting rights of Reidun Lundgren held through Metolius Foundation and Ringerike GmbH & Co. Luftfahrtbeteiligungs KG in Air Berlin PLC have decreased due to a recently carried out capital increase from 6.63% (formerly) to 5.97% as of today. The Metolius Foundation is a Liechtenstein foundation and is controlled by Reidun Lundgren. The Metolius Foundation held 4,449,000 shares in Air Berlin PLC both before and after the transaction which is subject to this transaction. Reidun Lundgren also controls Ringerike GmbH & Co. Luftfahrtsbeteiligungs KG, a German limited partnership, which held 640,275 shares in Air Berlin PLC both before and after the transaction which is subject to this transaction.
