Image of the month: Time change and changing times
Image of the Month: Changing times. While politicians talk of “changing times”, the change we face is just a small one: On March 27, the clocks will be going forward by an hour as we move into daylight saving time. We’ll lose a slice of Sunday, and we’ll be lagging behind. In the fall, we get that hour back with a 25-hour Sunday. But what happens exactly? Nothing more than this: The clocks move forward from 2 to 3 o’clock. We demonstrate adjusting the time on our new watch Tangente neomatik platinum gray, above. This brand new variant of the NOMOS classic—valuable with a platinum metal on the dial and gold “neomatik” lettering below the NOMOS mark—will serve faithfully in both the summers and winters of the decades to come, reminding us of time’s preciousness, with its quiet, peaceful ticking. On the steel case back there is space to engrave a date, a wish, a love note, with room for 88 characters. The words “freedom, peace, democracy,” just as an example, fit on there with ease at just 21 characters.
Are better times also a topic in your medium? You are welcome to use both the text and image, of course. And if you have any questions, just reach out. We know about time: We make mechanical watches in-house, following 175 years of tradition. We build the new Tangente neomatik platinum gray (pictured) and many other iconic watches all by ourselves, all by hand. We’d also like to invite you to visit us in Glashütte—this is now possible in compliance with all coronavirus health and safety measures.
We are looking forward to meeting you!
