On behalf of Victim Support Europe, the German Victim Support organisation WEISSER RING will organise the
24th Annual Conference of Victim Support Europe on the 27th and 28th of May 2010 in the Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung, Tiergartenstrasse 35 Berlin
This year the main topic of the Conference will be Justice for Victims of Crime in Europe During the plenary sessions speakers from the European Commission, the Ministry of Justice in Germany and experts in the field of victimology and provision of victim support will give new insights in the way victims of crime are supported throughout Europe. Workshops will be organised during which specific themes will be highlighted. The Lisbon Treaty, emerging demands for victim support and the way we deal with victims of organised crime and human trafficking are some of the topics that will be discussed.
