Munich, March 04, 2026 – EUROEXPO Messe- und Kongress-GmbH, the organizer of LogiMAT 2026, is featuring three forums in the accompanying program of events designed specifically to promote innovation in the intralogistics industry while helping to address the shortage of skilled workers. The focus here is squarely on startups, young innovators, and entry-level professionals. The results of a study commissioned by LogiMAT on the (intra)logistics industry will also be presented at the event.
EUROEXPO Messe- und Kongress-GmbH, the organizer of LogiMAT, is featuring three forums in this year’s program of events designed specifically to promote innovation and address the shortage of skilled labor. “This year’s event is shining a spotlight on up-and-coming startups, innovators, and intralogistics specialists with a Young Innovators forum, the final round of the LCS Logistics ChangerS startup competition combined with finalist pitches in an Expert Forum of the same name, and the LogiMAT CareerDay program,” notes LogiMAT Exhibition Director Michael Ruchty from event organizer EUROEXPO Messe- und Kongress-GmbH in Munich. “It’s a diverse program for the talent and solutions that will define the industry of tomorrow, and also a wealth of valuable information for visitors.”
LogiMAT has once again been selected for inclusion in the “Support Program for Young Innovative Companies to Participate in Leading International Trade Shows in Germany” sponsored by Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. Event organizers have responded by hosting the Young Innovators forum in the East Entrance of the Messe Stuttgart convention center on all three days of LogiMAT 2026 and by featuring a joint booth (EO91) for selected startups – young companies with fewer than 50 employees and annual revenues under €10 million. A total of 18 German startups, most of them in the software industry, will be on hand to present innovative solutions and business models with the theme “Innovation Made in Germany” and representing such diverse fields as indoor asset localization (Pelora), IT development for online presentations (Duatic), AI-driven workforce scheduling (ChronoFair), cloud data platforms (Algonaut), autonomous inventory management (doks.solution), AI-powered supply chain planning (numi solutions), and employee training (Kraka Technologies). Four innovative robotics solutions will also be on display, ranging from autonomous heavy-load transport systems (FORMIC Transportsysteme) and new AMRs for indoor and outdoor use (KELO Robotics, Cartken) to robot cranes that can be augmented with various tools and robotic arms and be freely maneuvered overhead in every direction (CeiliX Technology). K2 Mobility is presenting its energy and charge management system for heavy-duty e-trucks, and TUND is showcasing solutions for RFID integration. Visitors can also marvel at new pallet strapping machines (EasyStrap Packaging), transport containers (SMOX Smart Logistics), and packaging filler systems (Stenova Technologies). IKARA Vision Systems is offering video analytics to optimize automation, and H-2 Technik specializes in UHF RFID solutions.
Visitors to vote on startups
The participants in the startup competition organized by Logistik Cluster Schwaben (LCS) are still building their businesses. The five finalists in the LCS competition will present their pitches on the second day of the show in the “Logistics ChangerS” Expert Forum, taking place in the LogiMAT Atrium Arena. Moderated by Dr. Julia Boppert, Managing Director of trilogIQa, the forum will offer finalists five minutes each starting at 3:00 PM to pitch their practical solutions for the industry challenges of today and the logistics of tomorrow. The five finalists were selected from a nationwide pool of applicants by a 12-member jury of researchers and industry experts based primarily on their business idea, financial plan, and future prospects. The aim of the competition is to bring together emerging startups and established players to promote innovation in practice.
S2data is presenting an AI-based SaaS platform for the end-to-end optimization of transport and supply chain processes that integrates route, cargo space, freight rate, production, and warehouse data. EASE – Ergonomic Assistance Systems is developing an AI-powered active exoskeleton that provides ergonomic support for lifting and carrying processes in logistics and manufacturing with a data-driven analytics and service strategy. PACK is presenting FirstFrame, a digital welcome assistant for MS Teams that offers a structured approach to preparing B2B meetings with a focus on logistics sales, accelerates decision-making processes, improves the quality of meetings, and delivers higher-efficiency sales processes. Cargovibe is developing a digital platform to support truck drivers in their day-to-day work, including an AI-powered assistant that finds and reserves parking spaces along the route to help forwarders increase driver satisfaction, lower costs, and improve the predictability of their operations. Evolve Energy operates Depotcharge, a digital marketplace for charging electric trucks that also connects and coordinates depot operators and fleet managers, increases the utilization of charging infrastructure, and enables cost-efficient, predictable charging in the commercial vehicle sector. Following the presentation, Dr. Boppert will turn to the experience and expertise of the industry professionals in the room and have visitors vote on the pitches. Prizes for the three winners include a logo partnership at next year’s LogiMAT, extensive sales coaching, presentations at Ulm Logistics Day at the end of April, and opportunities for support, promotion, and networking at various logistics events.
CareerDay for students and entry-level professionals
The third highlight of this year’s future-focused program is LogiMAT CareerDay with over 30 exhibitors and partners, open to all attendees and taking place in the ICS Foyer on the final day of the event (March 26, 2026). A collaboration between LogiMAT and Die Wirtschaftsmacher, a website dedicated to raising the profile of the logistics industry, LogiMAT CareerDay is designed to engage both young talent and professionals transitioning from another field by showcasing the diversity and attractiveness of the intralogistics industry. CareerDay offers students, career starters, and professionals from various fields and with different qualifications direct contact with potential employers in the logistics sector. The interactive FireCamp format – in which participants collect stamps at the booths of various companies and learn about training and career opportunities – is aimed directly at the young people in attendance. A moderated panel discussion lets LogiMAT exhibitors introduce themselves as potential employers. Helpful tips on starting and changing careers will also be provided, along with testimonials on career opportunities and an overview of various job profiles in intralogistics, including the hard and soft skills required for each. Attendees will then have the opportunity to interact directly with HR representatives from the participating companies.
Fashion giant HUGO BOSS will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the intralogistics in its main distribution center and an overview of job profiles and entry-level opportunities. Dr. Manuel Beck, Professor of Industrial Engineering and Business Administration at SRH-Fernhochschule – The Mobile University (Riedlingen) – will show attendees how companies can use AI to identify, develop, and ensure specific skills. The FireCamp will also host a raffle at 2:00 PM. Attendees will then have time to visit LogiMAT for further insights into the diverse segments of the intralogistics industry and more networking opportunities with potential employers.
Results of the latest intralogistics industry study
The results of the study commissioned by LogiMAT on the (intra)logistics industry will also be presented at the official LogiMAT on-site press conference on March 24, 2026, at 1:00 PM. The study, a joint effort of EUROEXPO and Die Wirtschaftsmacher under the direction of Dr. Christian Kille, Professor of Commercial Logistics at the Technical University of Würzburg-Schweinfurt, examines attitudes toward topics such as the shortage of skilled workers, the variety of career opportunities, innovation, technology, the future, and the attractiveness of the industry from the perspective of the general public. “Our objective in hosting this future-focused program is to highlight the diversity and appeal of the industry to potential employees and to support companies that are willing to innovate for smart solutions and their presence in the marketplace,” concludes Exhibition Director Ruchty. “LogiMAT offers young talent and startups an attractive forum to learn and gain visibility for a successful future.”
