CMS advises Santander Private Real Estate Advisory & Management in Sale of a German Real Estate Portfolio
Berlin - A real estate company managed by the Santander Group has sold a portfolio of four commercial properties to various buyers with the support of CMS. The portfolio consisted of three commercial properties at Düsseldorf Airport, in Hamburg and Oldenburg and one logistics property in North Rhine-Westphalia.
A CMS team headed by lead partner Dr Andreas Otto provided comprehensive legal advice on the sale to the Spanish investors. CMS had already assisted the investors in the acquisition of the properties ten years ago and has since provided extensive support in legal asset management.
The CMS Berlin real estate team has been supporting Santander Real Estate with regard to various real estate activities in Germany, most recently in the sale of "Q 205" at Friedrichstrasse in Berlin or the sale of the Uniqlo flagship store in the centre of West Berlin. The seller was also advised by CBRE.
