A new addition to the Power X-Change family: Einhell Germany AG has expanded its extensive cordless range and added two robust orbital sanders that – once again – impress with cordless freedom and rechargeable battery power. They can be used to effortlessly work large surface areas and rectangular workpieces right into the corners. To keep the working environment free of dust, the sanders are equipped with a dust bag and a vacuum cleaner adapter.
Maximum freedom of movement without cables
Landau an der Isar, June 29th, 2021 – With a powerful 18 V battery, the cordless orbital sanders TE-OS 18/230 Li and TC-OS 18/187 Li from Einhell’s Power X-Change family are perfect for sanding flat surfaces – e.g. workpieces, wooden floorboards, paneling or cladding. The handles feature soft grips to ensure you have a firm and safe grip during sanding.
Thanks to the micro hook-and-loop fasteners, abrasive paper sheets can be changed quickly and easily. Abrasive paper without the hook-and-loop fasteners can also be clamped in the unit without any problems. Both sanders are equipped with a dust bag and an adapter for connecting a vacuum cleaner. This allows the dust to be extracted directly at the source, keeping the work surface clean.
Perfect helpers for smooth surfaces
The oscillating speed of the TE-OS 18/230 Li Cordless Orbital Sander can be adjusted from 14,000 - 22,000 rpm to suit the material and application. The high-quality soleplate made of aluminum offers a sanding area of 230 x 115 mm with an orbit of 2.5 mm. Three abrasive sheets are supplied with the unit.
With a sanding area of 187 x 94 mm, an oscillating speed of 24,000 rpm and an orbit of 2 mm, the TC-OS 18/187 makes smooth and even work of any workpiece you are working on. The orbital sander is supplied with one sheet of abrasive paper.
Both units are not only lightweight and easy to handle – with cordless operation they can be used both indoors and outside, with no need to worry about a power supply. Another advantage: All batteries within the Power X-Change rechargeable battery platform are fully compatible and interchangeable and can now be used in over 200 devices for applications in the home, garden, or garage.
