A leaf blower/vacuum is a useful helper when it comes to getting rid of fallen leaves and small branches without straining your back. In addition to electric and petrol-powered models, cordless models are also available that offer unrivaled flexibility along with freedom from cables. From summer 2020, Einhell Germany AG will be offering a powerful 36 V Cordless Leaf Blower/Vacuum in its garden range. This unit will also be part of the Power X-Change cordless system.
2-in-1 function for optimum garden care
Landau an der Isar, July 14th, 2020 - Whether out in the garden, at the entrance to a courtyard or on pavements, leaves on the ground not only look untidy, but they can also represent a serious slip hazard when wet. However, clearing leaves with a rake or broom is strenuous work and takes a lot of time - much easier to use a leaf blower/vacuum. A battery-powered, cordless tool is the perfect way to keep hobby gardeners free to move around as they wish - with no worries about where the nearest power outlet is and no risk of cables getting tangled up. As the latest member of the Power X-Change family, which already includes over 130 cordless tools for the house and garden, the new 36 V Cordless Leaf Blower/Vacuum GE-CL 36/230 Li E is the perfect helper for hobby gardeners. The rechargeable unit can be used to blow leaves into a pile or to vacuum them up - and to then chop them up with the built-in chopper function ready for composting.
A compact power pack
Thanks to Einhell's twin-pack technology, two single 18 V Power X-Change power packs are simply combined in this device to deliver 36 V. The battery packs can also be used individually or together in other Power X-Change units. The powerful 36 V (= 2x 18 V) Leaf Blower/Vacuum GE-CL 36/230 Li E is supplied with a wide suction tube and a narrow blower tube. No tools are needed to switch between the two tubes. The suction and blowing performance can be accurately regulated to suit the application using the rotary speed control. The maximum suction power of 700 m³/h can be used to fill the 45-liter collecting bag via the large opening. By contrast, the narrow tube generates an air speed of 230 km/h to effortlessly blow leaves, needles from pine trees or even smaller branches or fir cones exactly where you want them to go. The maximum blowing power is reached via the turbo switch. The ergonomic handle with soft grip and anti-vibration function, the adjustable additional handle and the adjustable carrying strap make working with the cordless leaf blower/vacuum an incredibly comfortable experience. The two guide wheels are also height-adjustable. The cleaning opening is equipped with a safety switch.
