In the first nine months of fiscal 2000/2001 (April 1 to December 31, 2000), the DVFA/SG result of PC-WARE Information Technologies AG increased by 62.3% from € 2.31 million to € 3.75 million. Thus, the result in the first three quarters already exceeded the previous year’s result of € 2.43 million by 54%. PC-Ware’s sales grew by 24% to € 109.2 million, compared to € 87.8 million in the same period of last year and € 105.5 million in the full fiscal year 1999/2000.
Due to the favourable business development in the last quarter, PC-Ware clearly exceeded its earnings projections for this period. Even a strong increase in personnel expenses in connection with the development of the content and site management software “PC-WARE in4meta” and the eLicensing technology was more than compensated. For the last quarter, the Board remains highly confident that the DVFA/SG result target of € 3 million set at the time of the IPO in May will be more than met.
