Management team assembling under CEO Oliver Scheel's leadership
Duderstadt, Germany. Effective 15 January, Dr Oliver Scheel (49) is now leading Otto Bock HealthCare GmbH as its CEO. A new management team is being assembled under his leadership.
Starting 1 March, Arne Jörn (49) will be joining the company as Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this role, Jörn will be assuming global responsibility for the international medtech manufacturer's Facility Management, Production, Procurement, Logistics and After-Sales-Service departments. "By recruiting Arne Jörn, we have gained an experienced, results-oriented manager who will help us to master the growing challenges that our dynamic company faces - particularly in key areas such as efficient production, strategic procurement and achieving a high degree of customer satisfaction," said Dr Scheel.
Prior to this, Jörn served as COO at SAF Holland, a leading listed supplier for the global commercial vehicles industry. As of 1 April, his predecessor, Thorsten Schmitt (55), will be focusing on the company's ventures at Otto Bock Holding by serving as a business coach for young companies. "Together with his operations team, Mr Schmitt has played a significant role in facilitating our company's rapid growth over the past two decades. I would like to extend my gratitude to him for this and look forward to the support he will be providing in his new role," said Prof. Hans Georg Näder, owner of Otto Bock Holding and President of Otto Bock HealthCare GmbH.
Ralf Stuch will be assuming a key position in the new team led by Scheel. In addition to his responsibilities as Executive Vice President Global Sales, he is now leading the three business units of Prosthetics, Orthotics and MedicalCare as well as the Marketing Communications department as of 15 January. He is therefore now serving as Chief Sales & Marketing Officer (CSMO). Stuch will also be taking on the tasks of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on an interim basis.
