PAN AMP - PAN AMP bulk order for revolutionary copy protection STAFT

PAN AMP AG gets bulk order from the mpX technology AG for the establishment of the STAFT copy protection system for audio players.
"On Saturday March 15th, 2003 it was decided to launch the, since the end of the nineties developed copy protection STAFT (Secure Trademark Added File Technology)", said Bert Weingarten, member of the board and founder of the PAN AMP AG. "In co-operation with mpX technology AG (www.mpX.ag) in Schönaich, we will launch the technology in the field of MP3 hardware", added Mr. Weingarten. The co-operation came about at the CeBIT and contains the realization of the STAFT copy protection for MP3 players and exclusive licensing for the audio/MP3 sector.
"The order, covering a volume in a six digit Euro amount, was signed with the mpX technology AG", stated Mr. Weingarten. "It is aimed to provide copy protection for the successful distributed mpX-MP3 hardware products and therefore to protect contracting license parties of the mpX technology AG", said Christian Gassner, business manager of the mpX technology AG.
Attention was already drawn to the fundamental new way of STAFT copy protection in the audio- and movie industry in the United States and Great Britain as well as at the Fraunhofer Institute, as STAFT is a copy protection system, which produces a unique and copy protected product version for every customer of digital products and does work completely without encrypting.
In the video sector the first option of issuing a license, also a six digit Euro amount, was appointed to the mpX technology AG. The PAN AMP AG will not exclusively appoint this segment partly or in whole, but will offer further options at the STAFT launch this year.
"We are happy", said Bert Weingarten, "that we are now in the position to use our STAFT copy protection in the e-commerce field for audio and video. Exciting times have started for our technology company".
