Orbis (German Securities ID Number 522 877), long-standing SAP Consulting Partner and one of the leading CRM providers, has been awarded a major contract by Ruwel-Werke, Spezialfabrik für Leiterplatten GmbH, based in Geldern, Germany. The order with a volume in excess of DM 5 million is one of the biggest ever received by the company. The project comprises the implementation of the mySAP.com software in six locations of the Ruwel Group in both Germany and France. With this decision, Ruwel establishes the basis for future integrated and trendsetting e-business solutions. Orbis itself will provide the project management as well as business and logistic consultancy services for the entire mySAP.com project.
At the beginning of the year, Orbis was nominated by SAP AG as one of the first mySAP.com Alliance Partner Service companies. The increased co-operation with SAP enabled Orbis to become one of the leading e-business providers. Previous projects in the framework of the mySAP.com strategy successfully implemented were Walter AG, ZF Lenksysteme, Rittal and FC Bayern München (SAP Online Store on TV).
