Neuer Markt-listed itelligence AG has acquired Sapryma S.L. with 120 employees and branches in Madrid, Lisbon, Barcelona, Bilbao, Seville and Saragossa, Sapryma S.L. is one of the biggest SAP and e-business consultancies in Spain and Portugal. The acquisition gives itelligence a presence in all centres of the Iberian peninsula - currently Europe's fastest growing region. Apart from major Spanish and Portuguese companies, the new itelligence subsidiary serves international customers such as Bosch, Henkel, Freudenberg and Alstom.
With now over 1,300 employees at 43 locations in 18 industrialized countries, itelligence is a leading international e-business integrator. The company will use its strong position in Spain and Portugal as a strategic basis for the systematic expansion of its global network to South America. Investments in its internationalization strategy will enable itelligence to roll out its proprietary industry solutions (e-business and full-service ERP solutions for the service, mechanical engineering and retail sector) throughout the world. Furthermore, they will allow itelligence to support its customers' international expansion, to network its subsidiaries and business partners around the world and to push ahead the digital integration of business processes.
