The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited controls Butterfield Trust (Bermuda) Limited which in turn controls Linetrust PTC Ltd. which in turn controls Linea Ltd. which in turn controls MCC Holding Limited which in turn controls OJSC MCC "EuroChem" which in turn controls EuroChem A.M. Limited.
1. Notification of voting rights in the name and on behalf of Butterfield Trust (Bermuda) Limited pursuant to § 21 para. 1 in connection with § 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG:
On 26 November 2008 Butterfield Trust (Bermuda) Limited exceeded the 15 per cent threshold of § 21 para. 1 WpHG and held at this date 15.001 per cent of the voting rights (i.e., 24,752,001 shares with voting rights) in K+S Aktiengesellschaft. All these voting rights are attributed to Butterfield Trust (Bermuda) Limited pursuant to § 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG.
Voting rights that are to be attributed to Butterfield Trust (Bermuda) Limited are held via the following companies which are controlled by Butterfield Trust (Bermuda) Limited and whose holdings of voting rights amount to 3% or more in K+S Aktiengesellschaft:

On 26 November 2008 Linea Ltd. exceeded the 15 per cent threshold of § 21 para. 1 WpHG and held at this date 15.001 per cent of the voting rights (i.e., 24,752,001 shares with voting rights) in K+S Aktiengesellschaft. All these voting rights are attributed to Linea Ltd. pursuant to § 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG.
Voting rights that are to be attributed to Linea Ltd. are held via the following companies which are controlled by Linea Ltd. and whose holdings of voting rights amount to 3% or more in K+S Aktiengesellschaft:

On 26 November 2008 MCC Holding Limited exceeded the 15 per cent threshold of § 21 para. 1 WpHG and held at this date 15.001 per cent of the voting rights (i.e., 24,752,001 shares with voting rights) in K+S Aktiengesellschaft. Of these voting rights, 5.001 per cent (i.e., 8,252,000 shares with voting rights) are attributed to MCC Holding Limited pursuant to § 22 para 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG.
Voting rights that are to be attributed to MCC Holding Limited are held via the following companies which are controlled by MCC Holding Limited and whose holdings of voting rights amount to 3% or more in K+S Aktiengesellschaft:

Pursuant to section 21 (1) WpHG, OJSC MCC "EuroChem" notified us on 27 November 2008 that the percentage of voting rights of OJSC MCC "EuroChem" in K+S Aktiengesellschaft exceeded the threshold of 3% on 21 November 2008 and amounted to 3.34% (5,513,006 voting rights) as per the end of this date.
Of these voting rights, 3.34% (5,513,006 voting rights) are to be attributed to OJSC MCC "EuroChem" pursuant to section 22 (1) sentence 1 no.1 WpHG.

Of these voting rights, 5.001% (8,252,000 voting rights) are to be attributed to OJSC MCC "EuroChem" pursuant to section 22 (1) sentence 1 no.1 WpHG.
