Framework agreement about share in Swiss SAP consulting company Process Partner AG signed
AC-Service intends to extend the cooperation with Swiss Process Partner AG, CH-St Gallen, and to consolidate it even further through financial and managerial linkages. A framework agreement to this effect has just been signed. Accordingly, AC Service AG will acquire an interest of 40% in the correspondingly increased share capital and appoint the majority of the members of the board. This will make it possible to fully incorporate sales and operating results into the group statement as from this date. In addition, the agreement stipulates an option for the acquisition of the remaining 60% of shares by AC-Service.
At the end of 1999, Process Partner AG had a total staff of 14, among them 13 SAP consultants. In the previous fiscal year, the company showed sales amounting to approx. DEM 5 million and an excellent operating profitability. The consulting company has been awarded the Quality Award from SAP, and with ProServ it is offering the only SAP-qualified industry-specific solution for the services business industry in Switzerland. The application of such an industry-specific software substantially speeds up the implementation of SAP R/3 especially in medium-sized companies; the implementation, consulting and customising expenditure can be reduced. In addition, the combination of AC-Service with its many years of experience in IT outsourdng and the profound industry know-how and Industrie-specific solutions of Process Partner AG is opening up new possibilities for AC-Service as an Application Service Provider (ASP) for selected segments of the services business sector.
With this share, AC-Service will reach another milestone in its co-operation and acquisition policy clearly focusing on IT service providing.
