At this year's CeBIT, secunet Security Networks AG is presenting established high-security products and services, current developments and research into the future of IT security. The company focuses on high-security communication possibilities, efficient use of biometrics and secure handling of electronic business processes. The leading European supplier of high-security IT solutions and services is presenting its latest applications to customers and journalists live at the CeBIT, Hall 7, Stall D38.
SINA - Innovations Since the end of 2005, the SINA secure inter-network architecture has also been available to industrial clients. SINA Virtual Workstation 2.0 (VW), secunet's mobile high-security application, represents the focal point of the CeBIT exhibition. The workstation's virtualization technology allows for several parallel sessions with different security levels on a secure platform as well as local data storage on high-security crypto containers. The company is presenting a SINA voice-over IP application and demonstrating high-security access to company networks for mobile units. In addition, secunet is presenting various research studies regarding the future of the SINA high-security solution, among them the integration of SINA into PDAs.
Unlimited biometrics BioMiddle, a standard-orientated biometric middleware, which was developed in conjunction with the Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik (BSI, German Federal Office for Information Security), facilitates the modular use of various biometric system components, thereby creating reliable interfaces and promoting the exchange of individual components in the highly dynamic biometric technology market. This means investment security and straightforward development as well as optimum combination and configuration possibilities, making this biometrics application easier to master for government authorities and companies alike.
Protection of automated processes in companies secunet multisign, a complete solution for the mass production of qualified electronic signatures offers extensive advantages where large amounts of invoices are involved: electronic invoicing saves postage and printing costs and the invoiced party can present the signed electronic documents to the tax authority for input tax deduction. secunet is presenting the multisign signature box at the CeBIT, showing its successful application by customers such as dba Luftfahrtgesellschaft, AMADEUS and simyo. secunet staff are also demonstrating how documents are signed and checked electronically using multisign.
secunet tridentity handles electronic business processes and dealings with authorities at a security level that is on a par with paper-based processes, thereby facilitating secure identification and hence controlled access to services and personalised information, electronic signatures and trusted processing of online transactions. This solution has already been implemented in the ELSTER electronic tax declaration.
The Company ID Card, a multi-functional employee ID, is a reliable, comfortable and proven high-security solution facilitating access control, time organisation and payment transactions. Controlled access to data processing systems is a logical complementary component of the concept: a single ID card with its associated password allows secure and individual use of various systems. At the trade fair stall, secunet staff are demonstrating the different application possibilities in SAP or web portals that are available to users of Single Sign On.
