Koehler Group to build corporate daycare center at Oberkirch site

Making sure that everyone is able to have a healthy work–life balance is not only part of the values that the Koehler Group espouses, but is also becoming increasingly important. This is why the company will be offering 100 new spots for children at its new corporate daycare center in Oberkirch, which will be run by Stuttgart-based Konzept-e Group. The new building will be located at the company’s Oberkirch location, is expected to be completed and ready for use during the 2025/2026 kindergarten year, and will be owned by Koehler.
Corporate daycare center right next to Koehler headquarters in Oberkirch
The new corporate daycare center will be located right next to Koehler’s headquarters and will offer public daycare spots in addition to those meant for children of employees. Gregor Bühler, Mayor of Oberkirch, had nothing but good things to say about the Koehler Group’s commitment to the well-being of its community: “Increasing the number of daycare spots available for children is extremely important to us, so the fact that Koehler will be offering daycare spots to the public on top of the ones for its own employees’ children is a great thing for Oberkirch.” Koehler Group CEO Kai Furler goes on to add: “Building this new corporate daycare center will make Koehler an even more attractive employer.”
The company’s daycare center will have an area for small children who are one to three years old, as well as spots for older children with “extended hours” and the longer “all-day” option (“verlängerte Öffnungszeiten” and “Ganztagesbetreuung,” as they are called in German). In addition, both the government of Oberkirch and Koehler are set to explore new approaches within this context after finding an extremely experienced and dependable partner in the form of Konzept-e Group, which has already delivered incredible results for the Koehler Group’s vacation childcare program before.
