Via its 100% affiliated company ELASER GmbH in Suhl/Thuringia, LPKF Laser & Electronics AG is taking over the remaining 80% shares of A-LASER Inc. in Oregon, of which 20% have been held so far. The company has been active in stencil production and will now be utilized for the market introduction of new LPKF products, especially the technology of polymer stencils, to the USA. A turnover of about DM 1.4 million and earnings of DM 425,000 DM are expected for the fiscal year of 1999.
