According to first calculations, ELMOS Semiconductor AG, Dortmund, finalised the year 2000 reaching net sales of DM 207 Mio. (+23% compared with the year before). Thereby, both the original budget of DM 196 Mio. and the increased sales expectations of DM 204 Mio. as corrected in August have been clearly beaten.
The income before income taxes rose from DM 34.2 Mio. to about DM 57 Mio. (+66.7% compared with the year before). With a pre- tax profit margin of 27.9% the ELMOS Group reached again a leading position in the market.
The book-to-bill ratio in the year 2000 was 1.15, and significantly exceeded the previous year's ratio of 1.07.
The Company will present the final annual results during its press conference in Frankfurt on February 21st, 2001.
