Germany's Federal Finance Ministry today renewed the master agreement under which Leipzig-based PC-Ware Information Technologies AG licenses Microsoft software through April 2003. The master agreement covers some 70% of the installations in Germany's public sector and will be worth approx. DM 350 million over the next three years. The agreement currently gives PC-Ware access to more than 13,000 contract customers, underpinning the company's position as one of Germany's biggest software licensors.
According to Dr. Knut Loschke, the chairman of the company's executive board. PC-Ware's continued growth will benefit from its excellent customer base and the expertise which has once more been confirmed by the renewal of the agreement. Apart from its core business in software licensing, PC-Ware also offers its customers comprehensive software services, markets proprietary e-business software and develops Internet technologies for electronic licensing.
