DAB/Self Trade group now managing over 418.000 accounts - total number of executed transactions over 7.8 million for the year 2000- Assets under management EUR 12.8 billion
DAB/Self Trade group, can look back one successful year 2000. The Group won 52,183 new accounts in the 4th quarter 2000 and thus managed 418,792 accounts as at December 31, 2000. DAB AG Germany managed 360,463 customer securities accounts, 230,931 or 178 percent more than a year ago (number of securities accounts as at December 31, 1999: 129,532) and 30,362 or 9% quarter-on-quarter (Q3 2000: 330,101).
The total number of executed transactions for the group summed up to 2.11 million for the last quarter 2000 and 7.89 million for the whole year 2000. With 1.67 million executed transactions in the final quarter of 2000 and 6.10 million for the whole year 2000 DAB AG Germany managed to record an all-time high quarter-on-quarter as well as year-on-year number. This was an increase of 174 per cent on the previous year (executed transactions 1999: 2.22 million) and six percent on the previous quarter (number of transactions executed in Q3 2000: 1.57 million)
The assets under management of the DAB/Self Trade group amounted to EUR 12.8 billion of which DAB AG Germany managed EUR 12.0 billion. This was an increase of 43% year-on-year (assets under management as at December 31, 1999: EUR 8.4 billion). The mutual funds under management for DAB AG Germany rose by 72% year-on-year, to EUR 5.0 billion, and also managed to remain stable compared to the previous quarter, inspite of the generally weak stock markets performance (Q3 2000: EUR 5.1 billion).
