Karlsruhe (euro adhoc) - Karlsruhe, February 8, 2010 - asknet AG, recently ranked as one of Germany´s fastest-growing technology companies in Deloitte´s "Technology Fast 50" report, announced Alipay will now be offered as an online payment solution to its customers.

Alipay is China´s leading online payment service in terms of total number of registered users and total transaction volume. Alipay enables individuals and businesses to safely, conveniently and quickly send and receive payments online. It uses an escrow system that minimizes settlement risk in transactions and has been the key to the rapid growth of eCommerce in China.

Established in 2004 by Alibaba Group, Alipay has become the most popular, extensively used and trusted online payment tool in all areas of eCommerce in China. Alipay has more than 270 million registered users and a total daily transaction volume exceeding US$ 176 million, through more than five million daily transactions.
