(Wettenberg, December 17, 2010) - The Supervisory Board of PVA TePla AG, Wettenberg - a leading manufacturer of silicon crystallization systems as well as vacuum and high-temperature systems - has appointed Dr. Arno Knebelkamp as a member of the Management Board of PVA TePla AG. Dr. Arno Knebelkamp, in his current role as CEO of VESTOLIT GmbH & Co. KG, Marl, accepted the appointment today, and will join the company on April 1, 2011. He will initially hold the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) as Deputy CEO.
The current CEO, Mr. Peter Abel, will step down from the Executive Board at the end of the Annual General Meeting of PVA TePla AG on June 30, 2011. Mr. Abel will continue to be available to the company as a consultant and will support the work of the PVA TePla Group through his wide-ranging contacts with leading companies. When Peter Abel steps down as CEO, Dr. Arno Knebelkamp will take up this office.
