1. FORIS AG has submitted its 1999 balance sheet closing with an annual loss of DM 3.5 million. This loss includes DM 2 million of stock issue costs, resulting from FORIS' listing on the stock exchange last year. However, this result compares with a generated volume of financed lawsuits exceeding DM 188 million. Assuming a 60 % success rate of financed lawsuits, which is equivalent to the market averages published by the Federal Statistical Office (Statistisches Bundesamt), this result stands for proceeds from financed litigation of more than DM 47 million. This figure takes into account the cost of potentially lost lawsuits.
2. Although FORIS AG assumes an average duration of proceedings of 2.5 years, proceeds amounting to a total of DM 1.9 million were produced already in 1999.
3. Resulting from the trade in shell companies which began in the autumn of 1999, FORIS AG managed to deliver earnings of DM 2.5 million by the end of the same year. In January 2000 alone, revenue exceeded DM 1 million.
4. Trading in shell companies has proven to be an excellent advertising medium for the business sector of financing litigation within the legal profession as a target group. In order to strengthen the commitment, with immediate effect, each party acquiring a company will receive a consulting voucher worth DM 200. In addition, the new company will hold a share in FORIS AG. Other additional services will follow and make a significant contribution to this business sector.
